KD MMA: more Google reviews, and trial requests that reach a person

KD MMA is a martial arts school with three locations in the Los Angeles area and several hundred members on file. We ran a Review Machine campaign for its three Google listings, built the follow-up for free-trial requests from its website, and look after the club's IT: website, domain and email.

The review campaign

Thirty invitations a day went out from the club's own address, Monday to Friday, between 5 August and 9 September 2026. Each member got a starting draft to edit and publish from their own Google account.

These are the counts each listing displayed on both dates. A listing also gains reviews for other reasons, so we show what it gained over the period and do not claim every new review. All three listings, with dated screenshots →

Trial requests that reach a person

Before

The Free Trial form on kdmma.com sent an email to the front desk inbox and nothing else. Every request was typed into the CRM by hand, and some were missed.

  1. A visitor sends the Free Trial form from any page of kdmma.com.
  2. The request becomes a lead in Zoho CRM at once. A second request from the same email does not create a duplicate.
  3. The front desk gets a high-priority task: text or call the new lead.
  4. A welcome email goes out immediately, then "meet the coaches" after two days and "the door is open" after five. MMA leads get an invitation and, three days later, a note from the owner. Undecided leads start with where to begin.
  5. When staff mark the lead as contacted, the emails stop. The person's replies land on the lead's card in the CRM.

Live since 4 August 2026, tested end to end with a real form submission. It runs on KD MMA's own Zoho and Cloudflare accounts.

IT for the club

Around the two systems above, we look after the club's IT with the owner.

  • Website: kdmma.com moved to Webflow, with a page for each location, a class schedule the staff edit themselves, a founder page and a page for corporate clients.
  • Domain: kdmma.com moved from Wix to Cloudflare, and the old kdmmamontrose.com now points to kdmma.com/montrose, so the three locations build one brand in search.
  • Email: the club's mail runs on Zoho at kdmma.com, one mailbox with an address for each role. The domain is verified for sending, with DMARC enforced and a BIMI logo record, so receiving servers can check that mail really comes from the club.
  • Software choice: requirements and vendor questions for a gym-management platform that serves all three locations.
