Where your Google listing stands, before the first invitation goes out.
At setup we collect the reviews on your Google listing, up to 1,000, and send you a dated report: how often reviews arrive, how you reply, how you compare with the most-reviewed places nearby, what customers mention, and a suggested reply for each unanswered review of 3 stars or lower. It is part of the $1,000 setup.
The report below is for Example Dojo, a martial arts school in Pasadena that does not exist. The business, its reviews and every figure about it are invented.
The sample report, section by section
This is the report our system prints for a client, filled with invented data for a business that does not exist. The client gets it as a PDF. A note with each part says what it means for you.

Replies to write
6 reviews rated 3 stars or lower have no reply yet. Each has a suggested reply below. Fill in the parts in brackets, adjust the wording, and post it from your Google Business Profile.
“Great instructors, but the Saturday class moved twice this month and we only found out at the door.”
Suggested reply: Thank you for the kind words about our instructors, and for telling us about the Saturday class. Finding out about a schedule change at the door is frustrating. Please call us at [phone] so we can make sure future changes reach you ahead of time.
“My son loved it, but canceling took three emails and we were billed for another month after we asked to stop.”
Suggested reply: Thank you for training with us and for letting us know about the cancellation. We would like to look into the billing on your account. Please email [email] or call [phone] and ask for [name], who handles memberships.
A star rating with no text.
Suggested reply: Thank you for your rating. We would like to hear what happened during your visit. Please call us at [phone] or email [email] so we can talk it through.
“Street parking around 6pm is hard and we missed the start of class twice. The classes themselves are good.”
Suggested reply: Thank you for the kind words about the classes and for the note about evening parking. Please call us at [phone]; we are glad to talk through [parking options] near the school.
“The front desk never called me back about the summer camp.”
Suggested reply: Thank you for your interest in our summer camp. A missed call back is not what we want for any family. Please email [email] or call [phone] and we will answer your questions directly.
“The trial class was fine but the sales talk after it felt like a lot of pressure.”
Suggested reply: Thank you for trying a class with us and for your honest feedback about the conversation afterward. Please call [phone] if you would like to talk about it; we want every trial class to feel relaxed.

What to do in the first 60 days
- Reply to every review of 3 stars or lower that has no reply yet. We drafted each reply; your team edits it and posts it from your Google Business Profile.
- Law firms and medical practices: never confirm in a reply that the reviewer was your client or patient, and never mention their matter or treatment. Invite them to call the office. (ABA Formal Opinion 496; HIPAA)
- Fill the gaps in your Google profile, starting with the primary category.
- Invite every customer you served, most recent visits first, in date order.
- Send the invitation after the service is complete. For children's programs, invite the parent.
- Keep a steady pace close to your listing's usual rate. Sudden spikes well above it can get new reviews held back or removed.
What not to do
- A tablet, kiosk or QR code for reviews at your location, or asking people to post while they are still there.
- Discounts, gifts or any reward for a review (Google policy; FTC rule, 16 CFR Part 465).
- Asking customers to mention a word, a staff member or a phrase.
- Reviews from staff, relatives or friends.
- Choosing whom to invite by the rating you expect.

What the audit does, and what it does not
It describes your listing and hands you the replies to catch up on. The decisions, and every post on your listing, stay with you.
- Collects the public reviews on your Google listing, up to 1,000, when we set you up
- Dates every number, so the day-60 report has a fixed starting point
- Drafts a reply to each unanswered review of 3 stars or lower, for your staff to edit and post
- Compares your review count with nearby listings by count and distance only
- Keeps the collected review texts for 90 days, then deletes them. Reviewer names are never stored
- Post anything on your listing. Your staff post every reply from your Google Business Profile
- Predict how many reviews you will get, or what your rating will be
- Suggest asking only the customers you expect to be happy
- Suggest discounts, gifts or any other reward for a review
- Cost extra. It is part of the $1,000 setup in every option
Where it fits in the 60 days
The audit is the first thing you receive. The campaign that follows is measured against where your listing stood that day.
At setup
We run the audit and send you the report. Your team can work through the suggested replies and the profile gaps while we prepare your list and your sending.
Through day 45
Invitations go out to your eligible list, from your name and your domain. You follow each customer's progress on your dashboard.
On day 60
The final report compares your listing with where it stood at the start: the public review count on launch day and on day 60, both from dated screenshots. The price does not depend on the result.
The audit comes with the setup in every option, whether we run the campaign or your team does. See how Review Machine is priced.
Check whether your list is a fit
Bring one Google listing and a rough count of customers you may contact. On a 30-minute call we tell you whether the standard campaign fits. If you go ahead, the review audit is the first thing you receive.
